Today I installed the Pace Edwards Full Metal JackRabbit bed roll cover. This is a very SHARP product and seems to be built very well. This accessory is available from the fine people at www.RealTruck.com who really know their bed covers! I did the install myself with only a few basic tools and completed everything in about 4-hours. Granted, like most installs, if I had to do another one right now, it would take me about an hour.http://www.RealTruck.comshapeimage_3_link_0
Here I marked a line on my factory bed liner with a silver Sharpie. This is the portion of the bed liner that I had to cutout to accommodate the Pace Edwards drum.
Once marked, I zipped out the required section of the bed liner using a sawzall.
Four-hours later... installed and looking fine! What’s neat about the Pace Edwards cover, is that it conveniently drains rain water, etc. off the top, through the drum housing and out two hoses that are routed through the front two drain plugs of the pickup bed. This cover also has a key-lock on it.
