I immediately noticed that it was much more slimline than expected which was great as it hardly takes up any space. I removed it from the box and could instantly feel the quality of the product. Gorgeous aluminum, securely fastened and joined together. The installation instructions were very simple and straightforward. I have a factory type bed liner which needed to be measured, marked and cut to install the Z-Bench mounting brackets -- it was a piece of cake. I cut through the liner very easily with a sharp utility knife, the brackets mounted with four very coarse threaded screws which hold the Z-Bench very securely in place -- before I knew what I was doing - the install was complete! I was also pleasantly surprised with the “little” things that were part of my Z-Bench package such as a set of tamper-proof screws and a heavy duty Master lock -- no one is stealing this work of art! Immediately after installing the Z-Bench, I was excited to share it with someone so I drove to my dad’s... he was amazed by it’s quality and the convenience it provides and it didn’t take long before the neighbors stopped by and the reoccurring phrase was, “Wow, that’s cool.” The kids love it too!
